{"id":9377,"date":"2021-07-01T16:40:19","date_gmt":"2021-07-01T14:40:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zeni.cz\/blog\/what-essentials-elements-should-be-part-of-any-article\/"},"modified":"2024-07-10T12:55:08","modified_gmt":"2024-07-10T10:55:08","slug":"what-essentials-elements-should-be-part-of-any-article","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zeni.cz\/en\/blog-o-wordpress-woocommerce\/online-business\/what-essentials-elements-should-be-part-of-any-article\/","title":{"rendered":"Essential elements that should be a part of every article"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-59ca0c28\">\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><strong>Each article should follow certain requirements to be prepared for publication.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-4c9683e8\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Don&#8217;t know what the following terms used to write an article mean?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Main title (H1)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>lead paragraph<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>introduction<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>subheadings (H2, H3 and other)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>main content<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>summary<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>meta description<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">You will find the answer in this article, along with how to use categories and correct content elements.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-e39d0d15\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Main Title<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The title should be <strong>at least 50 characters long<\/strong>, but the optimal <strong>length is 70 characters<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Try <strong>placing the keyword in the first position<\/strong> in the title.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The title should contain a <strong>verb<\/strong> to increase the expressiveness of the article. Verb should be <strong>contained in one of the first 5 words.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-6bd1fb60\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lead Paragraph<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It is the first paragraph in the whole article. Here <strong>we ask questions of who, when, where and why.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead paragraph should be <strong>bold text at the beginning of the article.<\/strong> The optimal length for lead paragraph is <strong>1-4 lines<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Lead paragraph should state <strong>what the article is about, but the title of the article should not be repeated<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-b118e9ad\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Introductory Paragraph<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">We follow up on lead paragraph smoothly with an introductory paragraph. The optimal <strong>length for the introductory paragraph is 1-4 lines<\/strong>, but sometimes maybe one line is enough.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-3bf78ced\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">H2, H3 and Others<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Subheadings help us to make the article more readable. <strong>Use and compose keywords<\/strong> here as well. Make sure that the subheadings are formatted correctly. <strong>If the subheadings don&#8217;t have layout<\/strong>, the article is not easily usable for the reader, he is more likely to close the website and leave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">With <strong>H2<\/strong> and other headings, you don&#8217;t have to create long headlines as with the main title (H1). A <strong>few characters is enough<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-2a15df67\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Content<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">We talked about this in more detail in <a href=\"https:\/\/zeni.cz\/en\/blog\/seo-how-to-write-articles-to-be-readable-and-optimized-for-search-engines\/\">How to write articles to be readable and optimized for search engines<\/a>, feel free to go trough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">In a nutshell, the <strong>ideal length for paragraphs is 1.5-5 lines<\/strong>. It is a good practice not to write each paragraph the same length so that the reader doesn&#8217;t find the text too uniform.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-d5ebf181\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Summary<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">In the summary the <strong>CTA<\/strong> or <strong>CALL TO ACTION<\/strong> should be used if applicable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">For CTA you can use sentences like:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you liked the article, leave us a comment on how do you like our new product.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you have more questions, do not hesitate to contact us via the contact form.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do you like our new product? You can contact us at any time with further questions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">The summary should never repeat the information already mentioned in the article!<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-950bba91\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Meta Description<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">It is similar to lead paragraph, but it is a paragraph that appears <strong>below your link in a search engine result<\/strong>. The meta title is displayed first and below it, you can find this meta description paragraph where you should provide information about the article with sufficient appeal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Pay particular attention to the this so that you do not repeat the same verbs and the same appeals.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Meta description should be around <strong>140-160 characters.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-87c62b10\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Resource List<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">If you are inspired by other websites or books, always <strong>mention the source from which you used the information<\/strong>. If you do not, you can<strong> get in to trouble because of copyright<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-5243fa1f\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Use Internal and External Links<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">It is good practice to include a <strong>links<\/strong> in the text and at least one link should lead <strong>to your site<\/strong>. This may be a call to purchase or a redirect to another article. Incorporate the <strong>external links<\/strong> into the content in the same way, but never force it! If this is not possible, it is better not to change the text, than to spoil it.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-54792e2b\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Images<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Articles should also include images that can refresh your text. You can download the images for free in the free photo bank or you can make your own photos. It&#8217;s always better to use your own photos!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\"><strong>ALT attributes <\/strong>are associated with images<strong>,<\/strong> they serve as a <strong>description of the photo<\/strong> in situations where the reader can not see the image. It is therefore important to describe the photos properly. For example: \u201eWhite notebook with notes, on which a blue pen is placed. There is a blue ink blot on the table.\u201d This sentence is sufficient as a description, as your targeted keyword is the word ink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\"><strong><strong>Remember that it&#8217;s also a beneficial to use a keyword in ALT attributes if it&#8217;s associated with the photo.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-c3e11e1e\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ending advice<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\"><strong><strong>Do not use underlined words<\/strong> \u2013 if you use an underlined word or sentence in an article, they may lead to <strong>misunderstanding that underlined words are links <\/strong>and the reader may try to click on this content but nothing happens. This also applies to <strong>blue font color<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">If you still hesitate and you are just not too confident about creating the articles, you can always find someone who can take care of this and who can help you with your articles.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Each article should follow certain requirements to be prepared for publication.
